The Fresh Air Fund
Since 1877, The Fresh Air Fund, a non-profit agency, has provided free summer vacations in the country to more than 1.7 million New York City children from disadvantaged communities. This July, at the Fresh Air Fund location in Fishkill, NY, Give the Gift of Sight will be providing free eye care and eyewear to the underprivileged children that will be attending this camp. Luxottica Wholesale associates will lead teams of volunteers coming from all groups of Luxottica and other vendor and charitable groups. Amateur rock musicians in the optical industry showed off their talents at the first annual Eye Rock on Thursday, April 10th at the China Club in New York City. The industry’s best amateur rock musicians and singers performed with the OffAxis Band and special guests Bad Habits, the EyeDocs of Rock. All proceeds benefited Give the Gift of Sight.
