OneSight
Helping the World to See!
OneSight is Luxottica's global charitable program that provides free vision care and eyewear to underprivileged individuals around the world. Millions of people suffer from poor vision either because they do not have access to eye care or they cannot afford it. Since its inception in 1988, the former Give the Gift of Sight has been committed to delivering clear vision to all that are in need, and has helped nearly five million people see.
The benefits of OneSight are not only experienced by those receiving the aid, the volunteers and contributors to the program also obtain great satisfaction from those they are helping. Sharing that magic moment when a person sees the world clearly for the first time is an indescribable occasion.
Not everyone is granted the same luxuries that many have come to enjoy in this life, but there are ways to help those who are less fortunate.
